Role Overview


The Associate Director of Affiliate Partnerships will lead the Chamber’s efforts to grow and manage strategic affiliate relationships with local businesses, service providers, and community organizations. This role is responsible for developing partnership opportunities that deliver value to Chamber members, negotiating benefit packages, and overseeing the implementation and promotion of affiliate programs. The position requires strong relationship-building, negotiation, and project management skills, and offers the opportunity to shape the Chamber’s value proposition in a meaningful and visible way.



Key Responsibilities


  • Identify, engage, and onboard new affiliate partners aligned with the Chamber’s mission and member needs.

  • Manage and strengthen existing partnerships to ensure delivery of member benefits and continued mutual value.

  • Lead negotiations and finalize benefit agreements in coordination with the Executive Director.

  • Collaborate with the Communications and Membership teams to market affiliate perks across platforms.

  • Maintain a detailed and up-to-date directory of all active partners and benefits.

  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging in all partnership materials and announcements.

  • Report regularly on partnership performance, member usage, and potential new opportunities.

  • This is a volunteer position.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in partnerships, business development, sales, or relationship management.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and persuasive presence.

  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

  • Understanding of member-based or nonprofit organizations is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
