The India Chamber of Commerce Minnesota (ICOCMN) is a nonprofit business association organized under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code, dedicated to fostering the growth, visibility, and long-term success of Asian-Indian and India-connected businesses across Minnesota.
ICOCMN serves as a unified voice for the business community by advocating for a strong and inclusive business environment, advancing economic interests, and representing member priorities with key stakeholders. We provide platforms for networking, leadership development, mentorship, and educational programming designed to support entrepreneurs, professionals, and established enterprises at every stage of growth.
Through strategic partnerships, curated programs, and high-impact events, the Chamber connects businesses to opportunities, decision-makers, and resources that drive commerce, collaboration, and innovation. Where Vision Meets Community
In the summer of 2024, four visionary leaders—Sirish Samba, Mahi Mahipathi, Hasmukh Patel, and Shajive Jeganathan—recognized a critical need within the Asian-Indian business community in Minnesota. As accomplished professionals and community advocates, they shared a common belief: the business community deserved a unified voice to champion its interests and create opportunities for growth and collaboration. With this shared vision, they laid the foundation for the India Chamber of Commerce MN (ICOCMN), an organization designed to serve as a hub for fostering innovation, building partnerships, and advocating for a business-friendly environment.
Their goal extended beyond business; it was about creating a platform that connected entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders, amplifying their collective voice and driving economic growth. They envisioned a vibrant community where mentorship, advocacy, and resources could empower businesses to thrive.
