About the event
Colonel Jesse R. Carlson serves as the Commander of the 133rd Airlift Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard, headquartered at the Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport. He commands a force of more than 1,200 airmen, directing worldwide airlift operations, training, and mission readiness for one of Minnesota’s most important military units.
Colonel Carlson has served over two decades in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard, holding leadership roles that span law, operations, and strategy. His career includes service as Staff Judge Advocate for the Minnesota National Guard and leadership positions in missions at home and abroad. Today, he is responsible for ensuring the 133rd Airlift Wing’s readiness to support both federal missions abroad and state missions here in Minnesota, from humanitarian aid to homeland security.
